The Ministry of Forestry of the Amur Region has filed a lawsuit in the Arbitration Court of the Irkutsk Region against the airline "Angara". The department demands compensation for damage to forest plantations caused during the An-24 crash. This is stated in the claim materials on the website "Arbitration Cases File".
The issue concerns a forest area in the Tyndinsky forestry of the Amur Region. The damage is estimated at 535 thousand rubles.
The Arbitration Court of the Irkutsk Region has accepted the ministry's claim for proceedings. It will be considered in a simplified manner.
The airline "Angara" was ordered to submit a "written reasoned response to the statement of claim" by November 12, 2025. The parties can also resolve the dispute with the involvement of a mediator.
About the An-24 Crash in the Amur Region
On July 24, 2025, the "Angara" airline's plane was operating a flight from Khabarovsk to Tynda. While approaching for landing at Tynda Airport, the aircraft crashed into a hill. As a result of the emergency, 48 people died, including 6 crew members.
