To complete the construction of the marine diving vessel "Georgy Artyukhov" (SDS-18 project), which is planned to be used in the Crimea region, the Russian government has allocated 40 million rubles.
The funds transferred to Rosmorrechflot from the Cabinet's reserve fund will ensure that the vessel reaches full technical readiness by 2025. The vessel is being built at the More shipyard in Feodosia (Crimea).
"Georgy Artyukhov" is a multifunctional marine diving catamaran of the SDS18 project.
The vessel is designed to provide diving and underwater technical work at depths of up to 60 meters with sea waves of up to 3 points, participation in emergency rescue and salvage operations, surveying the bottom of water areas, sunken objects, the underwater part of ship hulls and hydraulic structures.
