The All-Russian Scientific Research Institute "Gradient" has developed and presented an electronic warfare (EW) system called "Multik", designed to ensure the safety of helicopters, small military facilities, and personnel from attacks by FPV-type unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
A key feature of the system is its ability to provide all-round visibility (360 degrees) and quickly suppress UAV control channels, which effectively neutralizes the threat before it is realized.
The system automatically scans the radio frequency spectrum, identifying specific signatures characteristic of FPV drones. Upon detecting a potential threat, the system instantly generates a targeted interference, disrupting the connection between the drone and the operator. This leads to the loss of control of the drone and, as a result, prevents its use for striking or reconnaissance.
An important characteristic of the system is its mobility and ability to operate on the move. This allows it to be effectively used to protect convoys of military equipment, or when moving personnel in high-risk areas. In addition, the presence of a remote control function at a distance of at least 30 meters provides additional flexibility in the deployment and operation of the system.
The system is also designed to create a protective perimeter around critical facilities, providing early detection and neutralization of FPV drones. The ease of installation and operation makes it accessible to a wide range of users, helping to improve overall security and reduce the risks associated with the use of unmanned aerial vehicles for military purposes.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Indian Su-30MKI showed their strength in a training battle with stealth F-35B aircraft.
