PJSC "Yakovlev" is testing the aircraft in difficult conditions to confirm the reliability of Russian technologies

Specialists of PJSC "Yakovlev" (part of the Rostec Group) have begun a series of tests of the latest MC-21 aircraft in harsh climatic conditions in the north of Russia. Crews simulate various approach scenarios and conflict situations.

Liners with tail numbers 73054 and 64509 made flights over the water surface of the Ob Bay and over the mountains in the Vorkuta region.

MC-21 under number 73054 performs various approach maneuvers and simulates conflict situations with aircraft equipped with domestic systems to assess the range and all-aspect action, as well as the correctness of their interaction in various conflict situations at different altitudes and over different underlying surfaces.

The company clarified that this is important to ensure flight safety in civil routes and in airport areas.
