A video featuring a fighter-bomber of the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) has gone viral online. The demonstration of four aerial bombs with universal planning and correction modules (UMPC) suspended under the wings has attracted attention.
It should be noted that this load is standard for the Su-34. At the same time, the aircraft can carry even more bombs, but then maneuverability will suffer and the flight range will decrease.
You can carry less, but in this case the strike power will drop. And four bombs, in the slang of "bombers" - "poker", for most purposes - just right.
Along with planning aerial bombs with satellite guidance, the Russian Aerospace Forces have begun to use advanced long-range munitions with a rocket stage, called UMPB-5R.
Also, Rostec shed light on the long-suffering question about the strange beak-shaped nose of the Su-34. The state corporation noted that thanks to it, the crew received a more spacious cabin, and also acquired a powerful radar.
Earlier www1.ru reported that jamming-resistant "Molniya-2" kamikaze drones were equipped with a second engine for the first time.
