На Запорожской АЭС начали ремонт повреждённой ЛЭП 750 кВ «Днепровская»

Work Started After Four Weeks of Downtime

Work has begun at the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) to restore the damaged 750 kV Dneprovskaya high-voltage power line. The line was disconnected on September 23 due to fire damage, leaving the plant without external power supply.

The repair is being carried out by ZNPP personnel and specialists from Rosseti. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation is ensuring the safety of work in the shelling zone.

Representatives of the station also thanked the diplomatic bloc of Russia, Rosatom, and IAEA experts for coordinating the political and technical conditions for restoring the power supply.

Since then, the station's critical systems have been powered by backup diesel generators. Personnel maintain fuel reserves and monitor all key parameters around the clock.

According to IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi, work began after the establishment of local ceasefire zones, with Russia and Ukraine "constructively engaging with the agency to implement a comprehensive repair plan."
