Updated MAZ-4381EE-028 electric truck showcased at the "Energy" exhibition in Minsk

The heavy truck is equipped with lithium iron phosphate batteries with a total capacity of 252 kWh

Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ) has improved the MAZ-4381EE-028 electric truck. The updated model was presented at the "Energy" exhibition in Minsk.

In 2024, the manufacturer demonstrated a pre-production model with a synchronous electric motor with permanent magnets with a power of 105 kW. The electric truck also received a 4-speed automatic transmission.

The developers retained the same electric motor in the new MAZ-4381EE-028. However, instead of a 4-speed automatic transmission, they installed a 6-speed transmission.

The main difference of the improved truck is the lithium iron phosphate battery pack. In the previous version, their total capacity was 126 kWh, in the new one it is 252 kWh. The range has increased from 110 km to 220 km.

Other characteristics of MAZ-4381EE-028:

  • Gross weight - 11,900 kg
  • Load capacity - 4,400 kg
  • Volume of isothermal superstructure - 37 cubic meters
