SibNIA has completed ground and flight tests on the project "Creation of demonstrators of rotary-wing aircraft with electric (hybrid) power plants."
The main stage was the launch of the newly manufactured demonstrator, as well as a comprehensive testing of all its systems. During the tests, the operability of the engine and the rotor system, as well as the functioning of the ground control station, were checked. These activities made it possible to confirm the reliability and efficiency of the developed solutions in real flight conditions.
The successful development of a demonstrator of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) with coaxial rotors and an electric drive opens up new horizons for the city.
This model demonstrated the possibility of integrating environmentally friendly and efficient solutions into the field of air transport, but also minimizes greenhouse gas emissions. The development will also allow the introduction of new categories of urban aircraft.
Earlierwww1.ru reported that a UAV system for monitoring emergencies at oil storage facilities and pipelines wasdeveloped at MAI.
