The Altai Tire Plant (ASHK) has successfully certified domestic tires for the front and main landing gear struts of the MC-21-310 and SJ-100 Superjet aircraft. This was announced by the head of the Altai Territory, Viktor Tomenko.
According to him, the company will now organize flight tests of the new tires, after which their mass production will begin.

Tomenko recalled that according to the current plans of the country's government, it is planned to produce 270 MC-21-300 aircraft by 2030. The head of the region emphasized that the Altai enterprise will provide the tires for the aircraft.
The company "YaShZ Avia" (part of ASHK) promised to manufacture the first tire sample by the end of 2025.
