Wildberries has announced plans to build a modern logistics complex in the Arkhangelsk Region. The cooperation agreement was signed by Wildberries founder Tatyana Kim and the region's governor, Alexander Tsybulsky.
The new logistics center will occupy an area of approximately 50,000 square meters. Currently, an active search is underway for a suitable land plot for its location. The project will not only expand the company's logistics capabilities but also make a significant contribution to the economic development of the Arkhangelsk Region.
The Arkhangelsk Region, located in the Arctic zone, has become one of the largest regions in Russia by area. Tatyana Kim noted that the choice of this territory for the construction of the logistics center is due to its strategic location. The new complex will optimize logistics processes and speed up the delivery of goods, which is especially important for the northern territories.
Investments directed towards the implementation of the project will contribute to the development and support of the region, strengthening its economic potential and infrastructure. All advanced technologies available in the company will be applied during the construction of the logistics center in the Arkhangelsk Region.
Governor Tsybulsky emphasized that the creation of a sorting center will help reduce logistics costs for businesses and increase the attractiveness of working with the marketplace for local producers. As part of this collaboration, the "Growth Platform" was also launched — a comprehensive program to support entrepreneurs, which already includes about "20 local brands." The Arkhangelsk Region has become the "35th region" to join this initiative.
In combination with individual support measures for entrepreneurs within the framework of the "Growth Platform" project — consultations, infrastructure and legal support, assistance in promotion and logistics — the creation of a sorting center will provide a powerful synergistic effect
The merged company Wildberries & Russ manages more than 135 logistics facilities with a total area of over 4 million square meters. The developed warehouse infrastructure allows the company to ensure fast delivery times and provide local producers with access to a wide distribution network of goods throughout Russia and abroad.
