Rosatom is creating an integrated artificial intelligence infrastructure for the digital economy. This was announced by Evgeny Abakumov, Director of Information and Digital Technologies at the state corporation. According to him, a key area of work is the development of trusted AI, which should ensure the country's technological sovereignty and open up new opportunities for the energy sector.
The state corporation notes that artificial intelligence is already being actively implemented in production processes. It helps to process large amounts of data faster, accelerates design and engineering, and also increases the efficiency of operation of complex technological facilities. Such systems are especially in demand in the nuclear power industry, where high accuracy and control of each stage are necessary.
Rosatom uses digital solutions not only within the company, but also offers them to international partners. This corresponds to the global trend when large industrial corporations become developers of universal digital platforms. In the future, such technologies may go beyond the energy sector and be used in other strategically important industries.
The development of trusted AI reduces Russia's dependence on foreign solutions, strengthens national security and creates new opportunities for business. For ordinary Russians, this means more reliable energy systems, reduced costs and improved quality of services.
