Modern Russian tanks - deeply modernized T-72B3M, gas turbine T-80BVM and the latest T-90M "Proryv", set the standard for the development of armored vehicles around the world. This was stated in the Rostec State Corporation.
Combat vehicles are distinguished by high firepower and mobility, perfection of sighting systems and equipment.
Tanks show better survivability, withstanding many hits from anti-tank weapons.
Traditionally for domestic tank building, their maintainability allows the vehicles to be returned to service several times.
Also, the vehicles remain the only ones in the world equipped with an effective guided weapon system, gaining an advantage in the range of hitting enemy targets by direct fire, Rostec noted.
In addition, tank units have successfully worked out a method of firing from closed positions through interaction with drone operators. Often, only one or two pieces of ammunition are spent on sighting.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the probable base of "Oreshnik" abroad became known.
