S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems were used at the Zapad-2025 exercises held in Belarus. At the same time, 9K38 Igla man-portable anti-aircraft missile systems successfully coped with the destruction of more than 40 training targets.
The joint use of the S-400 and Igla MANPADS at the Zapad-2025 exercises demonstrates an integrated approach to ensuring air defense. The S-400 provides protection on long-range approaches, and the Igla provides protection at close range, creating an echeloned air defense system. This system allows you to effectively counter various airborne threats.
The Zapad-2025 exercises became a platform for practicing interaction between various branches of the military and demonstrating new tactical techniques. The use of modern weapons systems, such as the S-400 and Igla MANPADS, made it possible to increase the level of combat readiness and coordination of units. The experience gained will be taken into account when planning further troop training activities.
