Швартовные испытания на судне-спасателе проекта MPSV06 «Керченский пролив» продолжаются во Владивостоке

At the Amur Shipbuilding Plant of the United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC) in Vladivostok, mooring trials of the MPSV06 rescue vessel "Kerchensky Proliv" continue. The company's shipbuilders are working at the delivery base, checking all the vessel's systems and mechanisms.

Currently, the vessel is being configured with an automation and remote control system for the propulsion system from the steering wheelhouse consoles.

The shipbuilders have successfully completed commissioning works, checking the frequency converters of the propulsion system installed on the rudder propellers (RP) of both sides.

Specialists conducted tests, including the rotation of the lower RP gearbox around its axis and the operation of the propellers at 65% of the rated power of the propulsion engines. It is specified that further adjustments will be made during sea trials.

Technical characteristics:

  • length — 86 meters;
  • width — 19.1 meters;
  • displacement at draft along the LWL — 5127 tons;
  • speed — 15 knots.
