Новое судно «Берингия» проекта СП 20 пополнило флот Росморречфлота

The ship is designed to service navigation equipment in the waters of seaports

This year, the Rosmorrechflot fleet has been supplemented by a new self-propelled pontoon of project SP 20 called "Beringiya". The vessel, built at the shipyard of the Primorsky enterprise "Elkor", has already begun its work in the Anadyr port area, where it will perform key tasks to ensure navigation and cargo transportation.

"Beringiya" is designed for the installation, removal and maintenance of navigational aids in seaports. In addition, the vessel is capable of transporting general cargo, towed wheeled vehicles and motor vehicles, which makes it indispensable in conditions of complex logistics.

Since its commissioning, the pontoon has been actively involved in the installation and maintenance of navigation buoys, as well as in hydrographic works. This significantly improves the safety of navigation in the region and contributes to the development of port infrastructure.

One of the key advantages of "Beringiya" is its ability to make independent voyages throughout the Anadyr Bay. The vessel can reach remote terminals such as Beringovsky, Egvekinot and Providence, as well as coastal villages. This expands opportunities for cargo transportation and improves communication between different settlements.

The vessel has the following technical characteristics:

  • Length: 19.63 m
  • Width: 6.0 m
  • Draft: 0.92 m
  • Engine power: 230 kW (313 hp)

These parameters make "Beringiya" an efficient and maneuverable vessel capable of performing a wide range of tasks in difficult marine conditions. The introduction of modern vessels such as "Beringiya" emphasizes the importance of developing the Russian maritime fleet and its ability to perform various tasks in the interests of the country.
