In 2025, Ryazan will receive 15 new Avangard trolleybuses manufactured by Trans-Alpha. The vehicles with an autonomous range of up to 15 kilometers are planned to be delivered by the end of the year.
Avangard trolleybuses have a low-floor cabin, modern heating and air conditioning, video surveillance, a folding ramp for passengers with limited mobility, and a platform for baby and инвалидных wheelchairs.
The capacity is up to 86 people, with 30 seats provided. Autonomous batteries allow movement without connecting to the contact network, which is especially important in case of power outages.
The new trolleybuses will strengthen the urban electric transport of Ryazan, make it more comfortable and accessible for all passengers, and the autonomous running will allow maintaining movement even outside the power line, increasing the reliability of transportation.
