Испытания беспилотной лодки на оптоволокне производства предприятия «Ушкуйник» провели на Черноморском флоте

The boat can be used as a kamikaze or serve as an aircraft carrier for FPV drones

An unmanned vessel equipped with a fiber optic control system and created by the "Ushkuynik" Research and Production Center (Veliky Novgorod) is currently undergoing testing at the Black Sea Fleet. Alexey Chadaev, General Director of the RPC, announced planned combat tests in September.

The newest unmanned boat "Ushkuynik" is undergoing testing at the Black Sea Fleet training ground. It is controlled via a fiber optic cable, which quickly sinks and lies on the bottom due to its weight and reliable design.

Currently, the Black Sea Fleet is conducting field tests of the newest unmanned boat with fiber optic control, developed by specialists from the "Ushkuynik" RPC. Combat tests will take place in September. The product is equipped with a reel of protected fiber optic cable.

The development is multifunctional and capable of solving various tasks. The boat can be used as a kamikaze, serve as an aircraft carrier for FPV drones, or act as a fighter of Ukrainian unmanned boats. In the latter case, drones are launched from the boat and controlled by radio communication, while the fiber optic connection provides stable communication with operators on land.

The General Director of "Ushkuynik" RPC clarified that the project was created taking into account the specifics of combat operations in the Black Sea. Tests are being conducted at the Black Sea Fleet training grounds, where various scenarios for the use of the unmanned boat are being worked out.
