The new turboprop aircraft will enter the final certification procedures in 2025, ahead of the SJ-100 and MC-21 in this regard, according to Dmitry Yadrov, head of Rosaviatsiya.
According to him, the Il-114-300 is actually in the "final stage."
I can say with confidence that this machine is the closest in terms of certification activities today. This is all confirmed not by words, but by numbers, and most importantly, by the work carried out by the Ilyushin Aviation Complex.
Yadrov added that the Il-114-300 will be a direct replacement for the aging An-24 aircraft of Soviet production.
The cruising speed of the updated Il-114-300 is 450–500 km/h, and the maximum flight altitude is 7.6 thousand meters. Passenger capacity – up to 68 people. The aircraft was officially presented to Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
