A unique GAZ-3102 "Volga" of the first generation, manufactured in 1988, is being sold in Russia. The car is listed in GorkyClassic — the register of GAZ collector cars.
This rare car is equipped with a pre-chamber engine. The car was assembled manually and was not intended for the domestic market of the USSR.
The GAZ-3102 "Volga" of the first generation became part of a trial export batch consisting of 12 cars. They were intended for Soviet diplomats and representatives of foreign trade departments.
The specimen put up for sale was previously operated in Belgium, where it was used by an employee of the Soviet trade mission. After returning to Russia, the car was used for seasonal trips to the dacha.
After a comprehensive restoration using original parts, the car's mileage is only 64.5 thousand km.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that a 20-year-old "Volga" with a Toyota engine is being sold in St. Petersburg.
