Nine main components for the high-speed railway rolling stock are being tested at the Ural Locomotives plant in the Sverdlovsk region. The readiness of the site for the production of locomotives is 25%. This was announced by the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Anton Alikhanov.
The construction of the plant is now in an active phase, we must build 67 thousand square meters by the beginning of the fourth quarter of next year, but despite the fact that construction is only underway, the overall readiness level is about 25%.
The certification of trains is scheduled to be completed in March 2027. In the summer of 2027, they will be transferred to Russian Railways (RZD) for testing.
Nine main, most critical components are ready and are being tested, and about 30 more important components have already been pre-paid. Sinara has made the appropriate advances, and work is underway, we are not worried, we are on schedule so far.
Welding of the first seam of the first body for high-speed train cars has already begun at the Ural Locomotives plant.
