Nine key components for the high-speed rail rolling stock are undergoing testing at the "Ural Locomotives" plant in the Sverdlovsk region. The readiness of the site for locomotive production is 25%. This was announced by the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Anton Alikhanov.
The construction of the plant is currently in an active phase, we need to build 67 thousand square meters by the beginning of the fourth quarter of next year, but despite the fact that construction is only underway, the overall readiness level is about 25%.
The certification of the trains is scheduled to be completed in March 2027. In the summer of 2027, they will be handed over to Russian Railways (RZD) for testing.
Nine main, most critical components are ready, undergoing testing, and about 30 more important components have already been pre-financed. "Sinara" has made the corresponding advances, and work is underway, we are not worried, we are on schedule so far.
The welding of the first seam of the first car body for the high-speed train has already begun at the "Ural Locomotives" plant.
