The company "Zvezda" presented the all-terrain amphibious vehicle "Zvezda T24". The all-terrain vehicle has buoyant properties not due to its tires, but thanks to its boat-frame. "Zvezda T24" is able to swim against the current at a speed of up to 25 km/h. On land, the car accelerates to 80 km/h.
This giant accommodates two 350-liter fuel tanks each, and can travel more than a thousand km. The bus is designed for inter-village and tourist transportation. No special training is required to drive the all-terrain vehicle.
The all-terrain vehicle accommodates up to 28 passengers and is equipped with luggage racks. It is capable of operating at temperatures down to −60 °C. High cross-country ability is provided by low-pressure tires.
The car is 100% assembled from domestic components and has been tested in the swampy area of the Nizhny Novgorod region. Under the hood is a YaMZ-534 diesel engine.
The company is ready for mass production of 50 vehicles per year. Modifications are provided for ambulances and cardiac resuscitation.
Earlier www1.ru reported that a new tactical all-terrain vehicle "Niva-Ulan" for the military was developed in Russia.
