According to the official, the engine produced at the UEC-Saturn enterprise will find its application in the Russian aircraft industry market

Denis Manturov, the first deputy prime minister, visited the Rybinsk enterprise "UEC-Saturn", which is one of the leaders in the field of engine building and is part of the United Engine Corporation of the Rostec State Corporation.

The official noted that the engine produced at the Rybinsk enterprise will be in demand in the Russian aircraft industry market.

The PD-8 engine, a two-circuit turbofan unit with a thrust of eight tons, is in the final stage of preparation for serial production. It is currently undergoing certification tests. This engine, designed for installation on Superjet 100 and Be-200 aircraft, was created using modern Russian technologies and materials.
