Домофон без ключа может оставить вас без гроша: мошенники придумали новую схему обмана граждан

Fraudsters call on behalf of "Gosuslugi", ask for a code from SMS and gain access to the personal account

Scammers use a two-stage fraud scheme to obtain a personal code from the victim's intercom. This is reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

First, the attacker calls and names the victim's address, offering to issue a code that allegedly allows you to open the entrance without a key. Then the victim receives a message with a six-digit code, allegedly from "Gosuslugi".

After that, the fraudster gets in touch again - already in the messenger and under the guise of an employee of "Gosuslugi", reports an attempted hack and asks to dictate the code from SMS. Having received the code, the fraudster gains access to the user's personal account on the portal.

Law enforcement agencies remind that support staff never request passwords and codes from SMS. New legislative measures from June 2025 limit the use of messengers by government employees and allow citizens to opt out of SMS mailings, block spam calls and ban the registration of SIM cards through "Gosuslugi".
