Footage of a Russian main battle tank T-72B3M with a bizarre anti-drone protection in the form of fluffed ropes has been published online. It looks like noodles. The tank also received a large screen to protect the upper hemisphere, nicknamed the "barbecue."
The product consists of a rigid frame above the hull and turret, as well as steel ropes forming a continuous protective dome. Such structures are designed to protect armored vehicles from kamikaze drone attacks.
T-72B3M is a version of the T-72B3 tank with a rear-view television camera and a new sighting system with a digital display. The vehicle's armament includes a 125 mm gun with increased barrel life, new fire-fighting equipment, a new R-168-25U-2 "Aqueduct" VHF radio station, and a Sosna-U multi-channel gunner sight.
The combat vehicle's armor has been improved with side screens with "Relikt" dynamic protection modules. There is also a KMT-7 mine roller in the front.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Russia is building the world's largest electronic intelligence complex near Kaliningrad.
