In accordance with the instructions of Rosaviatsiya, Rossiya Airlines began inspecting Sukhoi Superjet 100 (RRJ-95) aircraft. The purpose of the inspection is to identify technical deviations that were observed on a number of aircraft between the cockpit and the passenger door. The first inspected aircraft did not reveal any issues.
The airline is required to carry out all necessary inspections prescribed by airworthiness directives. Only one aircraft in the airline's fleet falls under the scope of directive 2025-FATA-01020A-08, issued by Rosaviatsiya on August 1, 2025. No issues were identified during the inspection.
The Yakovlev company, part of the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC), notified Rosaviatsiya of potential problems with the fuselage structure on 14 Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft. During the operation of these aircraft, discrepancies were found between the actual execution and the design documentation in the area of connecting stringers (frame elements) to the beam in the area of the 12th frame (support element).
UAC informed that Yakovlev, as the aircraft developer, together with Rosaviatsiya, issued a mandatory airworthiness directive for the Superjet-100. The directive is a preventive measure aimed at ensuring flight safety and maintaining the serviceability of operated aircraft.
