The Russian company "Triada-TKO" (part of the Kalashnikov arms concern) has begun supplying a customer with promising Br2 protection class helmets. Its dome is made of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene and weighs 1.35 kg.
The new helmet is comparable in protection area to the Br1 protection class general-purpose full-ear helmet in service.
Helmet characteristics:
- anti-splinter resistance — V50%
- compatible with hearing protection devices
- there is a shroud and side rails for attaching additional devices
- combined suspension system
- helmet area — at least 11.5 dm2
- cover in Anthracite color
