Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RS) continues to actively support the modernization of the Russian fishing fleet. Recently, the construction of a new crab fishing vessel "Kapitan" (project CCa5712LS) was successfully completed, which received classification documents from RS on August 20, 2025.
The vessel is designed for crab fishing with traps, preservation and transportation of live catch in pouring tanks with outboard water. The new crab vessel can be operated in unlimited areas. The construction was carried out by order of Antey Sever company.
The vessel was built at Nakhodka Ship Repair Plant (NSRZ), Nakhodka, Primorsky Krai, with which RS actively cooperates within the framework of a number of shipbuilding projects. Along with CCa5712LS crab vessels, fishing vessels of projects GM 5.03 and 03141 are also being built here. The construction is carried out under the technical supervision of the Primorsky Branch of the Far Eastern Branch of RS.
