MTS Urent is testing an internal customer rating that affects the speed of access to scooters. The function is currently available to some users, but will soon be available to everyone. The rating is based on several factors: number of trips, fines, accidents, parking quality and driving style. The maximum score is 100.
Users with a high rating can drive faster - up to 25 km/h where permitted. Violators lose points and their speed is limited to 18–20 km/h. The service also blocks malicious violators. Currently, less than 1% of the test group has a rating below 100.
99.9% of MTS Urent scooter trips are accident-free. МВД data shows that accidents involving e-scooters decreased by 20% in the first half of the year. City rules remain unchanged: slow zones and speed limits in some cities apply to everyone.
