The AGR plant in Sestroretsk has suspended production of Solaris HS sedans. This was reported by Sergey Arbuzov, an обозреватель of the Drom automotive portal.
The main reason for the suspension of assembly was the depletion of parts stocks, which led to the absence of new cars from dealers. As a result, they currently do not have copies of the 2025 model year.
In 2024, the Solaris HS model held a leading position in the market, accounting for 87% of the total sales of the Solaris brand, which is equivalent to 13 thousand cars. However, in the period from January to May 2025, its share fell sharply to 27%, giving way to the leadership of the Solaris HC crossover, which occupied 37% of the market with sales of 3 thousand cars. In May 2025, Solaris HS showed the lowest sales among all Solaris models, including HC, KRS and KRX.
