The manufacture of parts for all types at PJSC "Yakovlev" for MC-21 and SJ-100 aircraft is carried out by its own foundry at the Irkutsk Aviation Plant (IAP).
For example, in workshop No. 203, parts are cast for all types of aircraft manufactured at IAP. Here, molten metal is poured into molds and castings of various shapes are obtained.
Behind all the complex processes and finished cast parts are the employees of the workshop - molders, smelters, blowers, heat treaters, mechanics, foremen, site managers and others.
In total, 83 people work here. The division manufactures not only cast parts for aircraft, but also components for ground equipment - machine tools, furnaces and tooling. The range includes 2370 items.
