Lada Iskra paint quality raises questions

Cars are painted on the same equipment as Lada Granta

Insiders claim that Lada Iskra cars are not painted very well. In their opinion, "orange peel" is noticeable on the cars — a surface texture that looks like small irregularities or embossed patterns.

Insiders attribute this to the fact that the cars are painted on equipment for the Lada Granta. It is claimed that it is outdated, and AvtoVAZ could have improved the painting on the first presentation cars.

AvtoVAZ officially started selling Lada Iskra, but industrial assembly will not begin until the spring of 2026. All Lada Iskra cars that went on sale have already been sold out.
