Lada Iskra cars are not painted very well, according to insiders. In their opinion, "orange peel" is noticeable on the cars — a surface texture that looks like small irregularities or embossed patterns.
Insiders attribute this to the fact that the cars are painted on equipment for Lada Granta. It is claimed that it is outdated, and AvtoVAZ could improve the painting on the first presentation cars.
AvtoVAZ officially started selling Lada Iskra, but industrial assembly will not begin until the spring of 2026. All Lada Iskra cars that went on sale have already been sold out.
