Floating Four-Star Hotel: Barguzin Cruise Liner Launched in Irkutsk Region

The RPV8714 project vessel will allow access to remote locations in the north of Lake Baikal

The Barguzin cruise liner, project RPV8714, was launched at the East Siberian River Shipping Company shipyard on July 11. The vessel is intended for operation on Lake Baikal.

The passenger ship was developed by "Р-Флот". It is capable of traveling at least 1600 kilometers autonomously at a speed of up to 24 km/h. This will allow it to reach remote locations in the north of Lake Baikal (Yarki Island, the cities of Severobaikalsk and Nizhneangarsk), as well as the popular tourist resort "Khakusy".

The new liner is a floating four-star hotel designed for 144 people in a cabin configuration or 200 in a promenade configuration. Inside the liner, there are recreation areas, a restaurant, and a gym, which will make the trip comfortable and enjoyable for passengers.

The length of the vessel is 87.5 m, the width is 14.5 m, the height is 4.7 m.
