The Soviet D-30 howitzer has remained relevant in the units of Russian barrel artillery, despite its solid age. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense.
The crew of the 1960 gun is capable of destroying any target within range. The firing range with OF56IM-1 ammunition is 19,300 m, while the range of standard ZOF24 is 15,200 m.
During aerial reconnaissance, the Orlan-10 drone crew revealed a concentration of enemy manpower and equipment in fortified positions, camouflaged in a forest belt. After receiving the coordinates, the crews successfully hit the targets.
