Final assembly of the first TVRS-44 Ladoga aircraft is being completed at UZGA

The prototype of the regional turboprop airliner will be rolled out to the airfield by the end of 2025

The final assembly of the first flight model of the TVRS-44 Ladoga regional turboprop aircraft is underway at the Ural Civil Aviation Plant (UZGA).

The fuselage, delivered from the Samara plant "Aviakor" in March 2025, is being equipped with components and systems in a new specialized workshop. The rollout of the prototype to the airfield is scheduled for the end of 2025.

"Ladoga" is a twin-engine aircraft with a capacity of up to 44 passengers, developed by order of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation as a replacement for the outdated An-24/26 and Yak-40. The aircraft is designed for operation in harsh climatic conditions, including takeoffs and landings on asphalt, concrete, dirt and snow runways.

UZGA is conducting certification tests of the LMS-901 Baikal light multipurpose aircraft.

Both projects were presented on July 8 to the acting Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region Denis Pasler and the Minister of Industry and Trade Anton Alikhanov during their visit to the enterprise.
