The Russian enterprise NPO "Asta" (Voskresensk) has launched serial production of Asta EPR/EPA universal linear electric actuators for regulating pipeline valves. The development lasted more than two years with an emphasis on accuracy, reliability, and flexible control.
The electric actuators are designed for remote control of shut-off and control valves. They support both analog (4–20 mA) and three-position control. Power supply — 220 V or 24 V with the possibility of mechanical switching without external software. The stroke speed is also mechanically adjustable, which allows you to accurately adjust the control parameters and minimize self-oscillations.
The actuators have a force of 2000 N and are installed on DN15–DN100 valves, including household (АСТА Р223 ТЕРМОКОМПАКТ) and industrial (АСТА Р123) models. Modifications with a force of up to 4000 N and an emergency shutdown function in case of power loss are being developed.
Production is maximally localized — 90% of the components are domestic. The actuators have passed 15-month tests, are certified, and shipments will begin in July. The warranty is 2 years.
