Russian soldiers have once again demonstrated wonders of ingenuity and showcased a new, previously unknown combat vehicle. The footage has appeared on social networks.
It is a homemade armored evacuation vehicle based on the T-62 tank. The soldiers dismantled the turret and replaced it with a homemade cabin, covering it with a wide visor with "dreadlocks" - thick metal cables.
The T-62 was adopted in 1961, with a weight of 37 tons it is considered a medium weight category tank. Initially, the tanks were equipped with V-shaped 12-cylinder diesel engines with a capacity of 580 hp.
Later they were replaced by more powerful V-46-5M engines with a capacity of 690 hp, allowing them to accelerate up to 50 km/h on highways, and up to 27 km/h on dirt roads.
Earlier www1.ru reported that detailed shots of the Russian UMPC aerial bomb for the Su-34 and Su-57 have appeared.
