The Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant (UAZ) has for the first time in 60 years begun to equip SGR family cars ("Loaves") with silent door limiters. Now the doors make practically no sound when opening and closing, which significantly improves the comfort of operation.
The first cars with new door limiters have already rolled off the assembly line. The manufacturer noted that the improved locking mechanism reliably fixes the doors in the desired position and protects them from damage in cramped conditions.
The changes affected not only the "Loaf", but also the oldest UAZ SUV - the "Hunter". On it, the one-piece swing tailgate was replaced with a double-leaf door, where the lower leaf opens downwards and the upper leaf opens upwards. These innovations are aimed at improving the functionality and ease of use of UAZ cars.
Earlier www1.ru reported that more than 16 billion rubles will be invested in the manufacturer of the legendary "Loaf" - UAZ.
