The "Stavropol Avto" car factory, the only one in the Stavropol Territory, was sold at auction for 2.2 billion rubles. The information appeared on the website of the Unified Federal Register of Bankruptcy Information.
The initial price of the car factory at the new auction at the end of January 2025 was reduced to 2.5 billion rubles from the previous 5 billion.
The company Favorit LLC also participated in the auction. Both participants submitted applications on June 2, 2025. In early January, the Governor of Stavropol, Vladimir Vladimirov, announced the regional government's intention to buy the car factory to organize a regional park for business on its base.
The sold property of the "Stavropol Avto" factory included a large production complex located in Mikhailovsk, Stavropol Territory. Real estate objects include assembly, painting and welding buildings, warehouses, an administrative building, as well as a test site with an area of almost 20 thousand square meters and a transport workshop.
The land plot with an area of more than 207 hectares is intended for the placement of industrial facilities and is already equipped with engineering communications, including access railway tracks and on-site gas, heat, water and electricity supply networks.
Most of the assets were pledged to PJSC Promsvyazbank, and the real estate was seized by resolutions of the Leninsky District Court of Stavropol dated September 2020 and March 2021.
The lot also included 80 units of equipment, 29 security towers and block containers, as well as 24 units of transport and special equipment. Fixed assets in the amount of 1707 items were sold separately.
The plant was planned as an assembly plant with a capacity of 100 thousand cars per year, and the production buildings were built in 2017-2018.
