Infantry fighting vehicle (BMP-3) crews are undergoing an intensive combat training course at the training center of the Southern Military District (SMD) in the Krasnodar Territory. Military personnel are practicing driving and shooting in conditions close to real combat. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
Soldiers are firing from closed positions and on the move at targets located at a distance of 500-4000 m, using a paired automatic cannon and a 7.62 mm machine gun, as well as 2 machine guns in the bow of the BMP-3.
Crews are also studying the tactics of using military equipment, methods of its repair and maintenance. After a month of training, the military personnel will go to military units for subsequent combat coordination of units.
