Crews of infantry fighting vehicles (BMP-3) are undergoing an intensive combat training course at the training center of the Southern Military District (SMD) in the Krasnodar Territory. Servicemen practice driving and shooting in conditions close to real combat. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
Soldiers fire from closed positions and on the move at targets located at a distance of 500-4000 m, using a paired automatic cannon and a 7.62 mm machine gun, as well as 2 machine guns in the bow of the BMP-3.
Crews also study the tactics of using military equipment, methods of its repair and maintenance. After a month of training, the servicemen will go to military units for subsequent combat coordination of units.
