FDR12 is 70% composed of domestic components. Materials developed at the Kargin Research Institute of Polymer Chemistry and Technology, which are also used in the aerospace industry, were used in the assembly of the internal combustion engine, chassis and the production of the load-bearing structure.

The load-bearing structure is made of carbon composite materials, with aluminum honeycomb fillers. High-quality fixation and sealing of internal combustion engine units, structural components of the chassis and elements of aerodynamic plumage were provided by adhesive materials of the "Anaterm" and "Unigerm" series produced by the Kargin Research Institute of Polymer Chemistry and Technology.

Acrimid structural foam, which has an optimal ratio of weight and strength characteristics, was used for the manufacture of structural elements and as a filler for the front and rear anti-wings, flaps and profiled bottom.

The use of domestic materials in the design of the car made it possible to improve its technical characteristics and reduce weight. The presentation of FDR12 took place in May as part of the first stage of the Russian Endurance Challenge endurance race series.

Earlier www1.ru reported that the first MARTT sports car is hitting the road.
