Russia can produce up to 20 Su-57, Su-35S, and Su-34 aircraft of each type annually. This was reported by the "Tekhnosfera Rossiya" publication.
The authors recalled that no aircraft from 40-50 years ago can compare in terms of onboard electronics and expensive high-precision weaponry with the Su-35S of the "4++" generation, let alone the fifth-generation Su-57 fighter.
According to them, it is no coincidence that back in the 2000s, the developers of new "Sukhoi" aircraft often stated that each new generation aircraft is at least equal to two machines of the previous generation in terms of combat capabilities.
Therefore, 15-20 new aircraft of each type per year—Su-35S, Su-34, and Su-57—for the Russian Aerospace Forces is a good level for the industry of a strong modern state. Another important point is that the Su-35S practically operate without losses, which means that the fleet of combat aircraft is not only maintained at a certain numerical level but also gradually updated.
