Mobile internet only in the subway, ATMs are not working, you can't call a taxi: Victory Day Parade rehearsal takes place in Moscow

Mobile internet service in the capital was suspended due to the threat of UAV attacks

In Moscow, banks, cafes, delivery services and courier services in Moscow are ceasing to function correctly due to the shutdown of mobile internet related to the rehearsal for the May 9 Victory Parade. At the same time, access to the Network appears as soon as you go down to the subway.

The Internet doesn't work at all, except for the subway. As soon as I went upstairs, nothing.

Difficulties with transfers between accounts, as well as payment via the Quick Payment System (SBP), may arise in Moscow and the region from May 7 to 9 due to restrictions on mobile internet. This is stated in the SBP Telegram channel.

Due to possible restrictions on access to the Internet in Moscow from May 7 to 9, there may be difficulties with transfers between accounts and payment via the SBP in the capital and the region, as well as temporary difficulties in accepting payments by cards at payment terminals in stores and online.

Sberbank and YuMoney also warned about difficulties in the operation of applications due to the temporary shutdown of cellular communications and mobile internet in Moscow and the region.

At the moment, it is impossible to order food in Moscow via mobile internet due to the inability to pay. Many stores only accept cash, and there are failures in the operation of ATMs and taxi services. Many cafes simply do not work if they are in the area near the Victory Parade rehearsal.

The restrictions also affected the Moscow region, and ATMs also began to shut down due to internet problems. Cash registers are also not working — purchases can only be paid for in cash.

Earlier, the capital's Department of Transport reported that the operation of taxi, car sharing, electric scooter and bicycle rental services will be partially limited in Moscow on May 7 and 9.

The restriction of access to the Internet during the ongoing festive events in Moscow was warned in the mailing list of the Unified State System for the Prevention and Liquidation of Emergency Situations (RSChS).
