Already Assembled in Russia: Haval H3 Fully "Examined"

Expert Ilya Sviridov noted several controversial decisions. These include the plastic intake manifold and the vulnerable location of the engine control unit, which could be damaged in a frontal collision.

During the disassembly, unusual design elements were also identified—inserts between the wing line and the trunk lid, and polished plastic parts in the rear doors. The door structure includes tubular and U-shaped reinforcements, with the tubular reinforcement coated with a compound resembling grease.

The rear of the model's body lacks a transverse reinforcement, but a longitudinal version is provided in the driver's area. The seats are attached to spot transverse reinforcements with superstructures. The wiring is neatly laid, but the fuel pump cover under the rear seat is glued with sealant. Sviridov characterized this design aspect as a one-time solution.

When inspecting the undercarriage, experts noted the asymmetrical arrangement of the driveshaft due to the exhaust system, an additional subframe bracket, and a non-standard rear suspension design. The front suspension is made according to traditional standards, but with differences in the thickness of some elements. The disassembly revealed both strengths and controversial aspects of the Haval H3, which may affect its reliability and maintainability.

In Russia, the Haval H3 is available in versions with front and all-wheel drive, equipped with a 1.5-liter engine producing 143 and 177 hp, respectively. Prices for the model range from 2.8 to 3.3 million rubles.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that Haval rented a huge logistics park in the Moscow region.
