During a religious procession in Moscow, a priest from the Church of the Annunciation of the Mother of God sprinkled a delivery robot with holy water. The event took place in Petrovsky Park and aroused interest among local residents.
A representative of the church told reporters that the robot was probably "moving towards" the procession. The priest did not get confused and sprinkled the device, which caused positive emotions among those present. After that, the food inside the robot became consecrated. The logo of "Яндекс Лавка" was visible on the device.
Interestingly, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Grigorenko previously shared his experience of colliding with a delivery robot at a pedestrian crossing. He said that his driver tried to "communicate" with the device, but to no avail. This case also highlights the growing integration of technology into everyday life.
