The Kalashnikov Concern (part of the Rostec State Corporation) equipped the complex with the SKAT 350 M reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) with a set of fiber-optic transmission devices. The new technical solution is unique for such domestic developments.
The complex allows the ground transmitting device and the control station to be separated by a distance of up to 500 m, which increases the safety of the crews servicing the SKAT 350 M.
The transmitting device or antenna of the complex emits radio waves that the enemy can detect and direct weapons at them. Previously, the drone operator could not install the antenna far from his workplace.
The new development allows us to increase the distance several times and deploy the antenna at a distance of up to half a kilometer from the UAV control point. Thus, we disorient the enemy and protect the lives of military personnel.
The kit includes a fiber-optic communication line cable, fiber-optic transmission devices for the ground transmitting device and the ground control station, and a rechargeable battery.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that RD-107/RD-108 engines for Soyuz rockets reached a reliability rate of 99.9%.
