For the first time in history, Russian mountain units have begun to receive heavy flamethrower systems (TOS). The "Solntsepek" complex is already being mastered by the 34th separate guards motorized rifle (mountain) brigade.
Specialized units — mountain riflemen, paratroopers, marines — have experienced a lack of firepower since their creation. Now this gap is being filled. According to the штатное расписание, TOS относится к вооружению войск радиационной, химической и биологической защиты (РХБЗ).

They allow you to destroy the enemy in dugouts, ruins, industrial and any other buildings that are actively equipped for defense.
The crews of the TOS-1A "Solntsepek" heavy flamethrower system destroy strongholds and armored vehicles at a range of up to 6 km. The complexes are guided to the target using reconnaissance drones.
Main characteristics of TOS-1A "Solntsepek":
Readiness time for opening fire — 90 seconds, number of launch tubes — 24 pcs, caliber — 220 mm, duration of a full salvo — 6 seconds.
