The Russian military has created a mock-up of the domestic «Tiger-M» armored vehicle on the chassis of a light Desertcross 1000 all-terrain vehicle. A photo that appeared on the Web shows an all-terrain vehicle with metal panels that imitate the body of «Tiger-M».
The creators of the mock-up repeated most of the elements of the car, including the characteristic protrusion on the hood and the «bullbar» in the front.
The authors of the publication did not rule out that the modernized Desertcross will be used as a mobile mock-up.
«Tiger-M» combines the qualities of a high-speed maneuverable car and an all-terrain vehicle. It is equipped with an independent torsion bar suspension, allowing you to reach the maximum possible speeds when driving over rough terrain.
The military receives standard «Tigers» with protection against kamikaze drones and screens that cover the doors, wheels and sides of the hull.
