The American spacecraft Crew Dragon from SpaceX with Russian cosmonaut Kirill Peskov on board as part of the Crew-10 crew launched on Friday to the International Space Station (ISS). The broadcast was conducted by Roscosmos on its Telegram channel.
The Falcon 9 launch vehicle was launched from the launch pad of the US Space Force base at Cape Canaveral at 19:04 local time (02:04 Moscow time). Along with Peskov, NASA astronauts Nicole Ayers and Anne McClain, as well as Takuya Onishi from the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency, went into orbit.
The Crew Dragon spacecraft was placed into the target orbit and separated from the second stage of the rocket as planned. Docking to the Harmony module of the American segment of the ISS is scheduled for March 16 at 06:30 Moscow time.
. In mid-March, the Russian cosmonaut Alexander Gorbunov and American astronauts Barry Wilmore, Nick Hague, and Sunita Williams will leave the ISS on the Crew Dragon. Williams and Wilmore have been on the ISS since June last year; their return was delayed due to a malfunction of the Boeing Starliner spacecraft.
