Repair units on the line of combat contact (LCC) have restored a damaged T-90M tank. The tank could not move on its own, so it was delivered by an evacuation vehicle and then towed with an armored recovery vehicle.
The work of the masters is divided into several stages. The first is debugging: the tank is disassembled, all damage is identified. The next is repair. The operation of the units is tested, damaged components and systems are replaced. The final one is a test at the training ground before being sent to the front line.
Most of the breakdowns are mechanical in nature and are associated with high intensity work. The machines work to wear, winding thousands of kilometers of mileage on off-road, and also get damaged from shelling.
The equipment arrives with burnt wiring, pierced hulls, broken bridges and chassis. It is impractical to restore some components. In a special workshop, units are repaired. If necessary, missing spare parts are manufactured. Even complex repairs take no more than five days - they usually cope in a day.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the modernized BMP-2M surpassed the American Bradley in firing range by two times.
