Lada Vesta with a new manual transmission has already begun to be sold in dealerships. In particular, a Lada Vesta SW Cross car in the Enjoy configuration was sold at the Pragma dealership in St. Petersburg.
According to Alexander Shaprynsky, commercial director of the Pragma dealership network, the new product with a 6-speed manual transmission may occupy about half of the market in the Lada Vesta line with 1.8-liter engines.
The cost of a sedan with such a transmission starts from 1,796,000 rubles in the Enjoy configuration. The price of the Techno model is 1,961,000 rubles.
The cost of cross-versions is from 1,914,000 and 2,072,000 rubles.
For the Lada Vesta SW station wagon you need to pay 1,926,000 and 2,091,000 rubles. However, the Vesta SW Cross with a 6-speed manual transmission is only available in the Enjoy configuration at a price of 2,034,000 rubles.
In the new gearbox, the gear ratios were adjusted to provide fuel economy while maintaining acceleration dynamics. As a result, the maximum speed of the new version increased to 187-189 km/h (depending on the body type), and the acceleration time to 100 km/h was reduced to 10.6 seconds. This is the best result among all Vesta models.
The reliability of the six-speed manual transmission has been proven by numerous tests. It is more than 190 thousand kilometers of mileage. Its durability, which exceeds 380 thousand kilometers, was also confirmed on the stands.
Earlier, AvtoVAZ once again revised the configuration of the Lada Vesta model. Top versions noticeablyincreased in price.
